The Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) is now relying on a new tender from Balfour Beatty which could take months. This also gives the contractor an advantage being the only party and could allow them to set their own terms. Demolition work had already started. A spokesperson for the ODA said that the timescale was now challenging.
